FAQ

Do you have a catalog?

Our illustrated line drawing catalog is no longer available as we advocate the “green” approach, as much as possible, at our facility. Our product is not mass produced but is created for you and the essential needs of your organization.  The photographs on our website, which we continually update, will show you the best scope of our talents and abilities.

What about your price list?

Since numerous optional features are incorporated into each project pricing is presented and based on the scope of each and every manufactured good, whether it is individual pieces or an entire store.  Once your exact needs are determined, and all the optional features and/or services are considered, pricing is presented.  Prior to construction on any project all pricing and features are fully detailed in formal proposal format.  Please feel free to call us and we can easily provide estimated preliminary costs and ranges for budgeting purposes.

What is your product like?

As a true manufacturer each product is created to your specifications and exact needs.  The large majority of our products are one-piece solid end construction and not pre-fabricated/pre-assemble metal frame construction.

How do I get started?

The project starts from a “footprint” of your location.  The client’s objectives are then discussed at length to determine the pre-requirements prior to the preliminary drawings.  The first set of drawings are very basic providing general concepts and ideas.  After utilizing the clients input we then begin “tweaking” the plans to create the final concept. Once the final concept is complete then we present the corresponding price quote.  If you are working with a designer or architect we can provide you pricing based on their plan.

Is a site visit necessary?

In most cases a site visit is not required.  As long as accurate space dimensions are provided the details can be determined via phone, fax, email & mail.  A site visit can, of course, be scheduled should the client necessitate the value added expense.

What finishes and colors are available?

Your options are numerous in regards to the exterior and interior finish of your units.  The exterior can be finished with high pressure exterior laminate, metal laminate or wood laminate.  We also offer a variety of wood construction that is stained and finished to your specifications along with many other selections.

How long does it take to receive my finished goods?

Depending on the scope of your project the typical construction time is anywhere from 6 to 16 weeks upon receipt of signed proposal and deposit.

How do I receive my finished goods?

A wide variety of delivery options are available to our clients.  Depending on the scope of the project different options will be presented on your price quote.  From direct delivery by Grice Showcase associates to pad wrapped van line inside delivery service.  Crate & freight is another option where the goods are crated and delivered via standard common carrier.

How long will my fixtures last?

Grice one-piece solid end constructed showcases in general should, and can, last for 20 to 30 years. However to keep your business fresh and updated it is recommended making major changes every 10 to 15 years.

How does Grice Showcase benefit my project?

In 2014 we are proud to celebrate our 30th year manufacturing almost exclusively for the jewelry industry.  With our background, history & involvement in the industry this allows us to easily relate to the specifics & details of the jewelry store owner.  Involvement in 24 Karat Club SEUS, AGS, SJTA, and various State & National Organizations along with Regional Trade Shows keeps us in touch with the ever growing needs of the industry.  Since our organization does not have sales representatives you can be ensured quality service in dealing with the principals of the organization.
